Instant Fill to Parvati (from a certain lizard-headed individual)! The Billion Bird from Toriko. A bird capable of laying hundreds to thousands of eggs in an instant. A rate that increases exponentially when frightened.
It took too damn long to find this thing. But this should kick things off quite well. Goddess can't hide a gut that size, especially if it's growing so long as she has the bird in her.
"Mmmh...Tikki masala...~"
Indian food isn't like it was back when Parvati still roamed the Earth, but she loves it all the same. How could she not, after all, since it's her homeland's modern culture? All Servants have experienced this to some degree, since most of their 'cooking crew' is comparatively modern (save Boudica, but her expertise is only in Old English foods), and Parvati is no exception.
Her twin chins, jiggling and wobbling with every breath she takes, frame a pudgy, motherly face, that beams calmly and warmly with every bite she takes of the hot meal.
Parvati's forgone her slimming sari now, deciding that it's best to just own up to her weight to a degree, even if she's not proudly showing it off. After all, she's not nearly as big as someone like Kama or Kiyohime, and that's something to celebrate!
"This naan is made excellently...~!"
Her belly pooches over her thighs, nearly lapping her knees as she shoves more food into her mouth. She is both messy and clean at the same time, with crumbs dotting her immense, sweat-coated cleavage, but not anywhere is. That's a feat to be proud of, certainly, since she's not exactly SLIM everywhere, ohoho.~ But her bust is rather pervasive in terms of size, being the largest part of her body by far...
She's inhabiting Sakura Matou's body, though, so that's to be expected.
"Mmmh, and is this that biryani Ganesha loves so much?~"
Her plump thighs rub against one another as she eats, the hefty goddess pleased with her weight and size despite herself. She hasn't really been growing any bigger despite all she's been inhaling, after all. She seems to have plateaued at this middling 450 after all, and she can grow adapted to this.
Hopefully, Lord Shiva can too!~
This makes Kama very unamused. She wants Parvati grumbling and whining, humiliated utterly by something Kama considers completely beautiful; fat. It was the perfect plan.
Kama and Kiyohime belching up a storm, groaning and moaning happily as they kiss, cuddle, and glut, while Parvati does the same, face completely red and shame prevalent.
But Parvati's not doing that. Not only is she not getting much fatter, she's not ashamed of her beautiful lard anymore either! It's a total pain in Kama's ass!
But her plan to fix it is oddly simple.
After all, Parvati's only really fine with her weight because she's not getting any bigger. Because she's levelling off, she can accept her weight, and Divine Core of the Goddess is pitching in to help make sure she doesn't get any bigger as long as she doesn't go overboard.
But it can't stop what's unending, right~? Sure, even if digestive juices take care of her little underling eventually, there's still plenty of time for it to leave an impact...let alone what fat it'll add post-digestion...
"Go on, little Billion Bird...have a blast.~"
-
"Homch, narf, ho-"
GGGLLLRRRRGLLLE~
B-Bawk?!
"Eh? What was-"
BWUUUUUMMPFFFF!
"G-GYAAAAAAAAAHURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRPPPP!"
Her shout and subsequent belch pierce the cafeteria, but draw only eyes. No words are spread about her (yet), no jokes or laughs to be made...just eyes.
The bird has found itself warped into her stomach, and bloats it massively right off the bat. Her sari, previously able to contain her gut to a degree, now rides up on it completely, barely managing to cover her immense bust as Parvati's tubby hands go straight to her expanding stomach.
The bird, of course, is terrified. Parvati's a seasoned eater, so her stomach is a most definite threat...and that thing's pumping out about 6,000 eggs per minute, by my best guess, and that number only ramps up the greedier her belly gets.
It wants food, after all.
As Parvati's stomach bloats with the eggs and the bird, her intestines are also digesting eggs at the same time, adding more weight to the rest of her body in sync with the bird's egg-laying.
"Haa...Haa..."
Parvati's still got eyes trained directly on her, and a bit of commentary is starting to blossom...but somehow, as her humilation builds, and she tries to figure out what's happening to her, she can't think about it. She can only look out into the sea of portly, meaty women...and notice that someone's missing.
And that person's precisely the one who would've done something like this!
"Kama..."
Parvati has to finish digesting this, and figure out a way to reduce her size after it's over, but...she'll be coming for that goddess when that happens.
Her and her dragon girlfriend better be ready.
If they wanna play...
Mama's gonna play.
-
"Oh my...it appears the war between these two is cold no more...Kama's patron has incited the flames of conflict between them once more, and it appears-"
Durga leans away from her microphone, BBBBBWUUURRRRPPPPPing into her fist as she covers the microphone with her other hand. Despite that, you can still probably hear it a little.
The portly Archer is sitting at a sort of announcer's desk, a double-set of chairs reinforcing her rear as she readjusts herself, patting her stomach softly.
"Apologies for that."
Scoot.
"As I was saying, it appears things will heat up soon with Parvati's counter-attack. Please look forward to the next bout. I, Durga, shall be your commentator for this series...and I hope you are entertained."

So I saw a lot of criticism by the Sanghis that Hindu mythology is not something one should write fanfiction about or that it's a religion, and therefore people shouldn't interpret and create stories of their own. But let me tell you something: the culture of fanfiction and re-interpretation of Hindu mythology is not at all new; it has been going on for decades.
So, as I said before in the blog, I am a Bengali, so most of the examples I will give are from Bengali literature. So Krishna is a huge part of these fandoms, and a lot of people write and draw things related to him. But this is definitely not a new thing; it has been going on since the time of Joydev's Geeta Govinda and Vidyapati's Vaishnav Padabali. There is a famous poem by Rabindranath Tagore:
Which translates to
"Are the songs of Vaishnav for Baikuntha alone?
Courting, attachment, sulkiness, sensitiveness,
Tryst, dalliances, parting and union, theme of,
The songs of Brindaban – this dream of love,
In the Shraban night on the bank of the Kalindi
The meeting of the four eyes under the Kadambatree
In blushing adoration - are these all for the Lord?
Most of the Vaishnav Padaboli and Radha Krishna Leela poets were very much influenced by their personal lives, which makes sense because they never really saw Radha Krishna with their own eyes, so obviously they need some kind of reference and muse for their works. For example, it is said that Vidyapati drew inspiration from the real relationship between a man and woman in that contemporary period for Radha and Krishna. He created the character of Radha from the very image of an adolescent, joyous young girl of that time period. His radha has a lot of human qualities. Then Chandidas, another important poet, apparently based Radha on his own lover, Rami. Rami was a lower-caste woman with whom Chandidas had an affair, but he couldn't marry her because it was not socially acceptable. Chandidas's Radha is portrayed as a sad woman, mourning for her lover from the very beginning, even before she meets Krishna, and it didn't change even when she was united with Krishna, as she was based on Rami, a woman who could never be with the man she loved due to society. Apart from them, the poets who composed Radha Krishna hymns during and after the rise of Sri Chaitanya in Bengal started including Chaitanya in their poetry. They wrote hymns dedicated to Chaitanya alongside Krishna; some of them even started crafting similar descriptions and personalities for both Radha and Chaitanya. It's from their narrative that Radha's love for Krishna symbolises devotees love for god; it was literally Krishna x Chaitanya. CHAITANYA FANFIC!!)
Apart from Vaishnav Padabali, we can also find examples of such works in Sakhta Padabali. For example, the whole concept of Durga pujo in Bengali is inspired by married women visiting their paternal family once a year with their children. The poets basically localised the mighty goddess Durga as a young girl married to Shiva, who is old and penniless. Several poets, like Ramprasad Sen and Kamalakanto (I don't remember his title), wrote hymns from the point of view of Menaka (Parvathi's mother) as she begged Giriraj (Parvati's father) to bring her daughter back. She chides Giriraj for marrying her young daughter to Shiva, who is old and penniless and roams in the crematorium with his ghost acquaintances. She worries about her young daughter suffering all alone in the Himalaya with no one to take care of. Isn't this also a kind of fanfiction? Where goddesses are made into normal women?
Also, if we talk about Mahabharat and the Ramayana, they also had fanfiction even before the rise of Wattpad and Tumblr. All the translations (except a few) adopted these epics in such a way that they could fit into their culture and contemporary society. It's a known fact that Tulsidas's Ramayan deviates a lot from the original one (Maya Sita, vegetarianism, etc.).
So in a way, it can be a retelling of some sort. So if we are shitting upon the culture of retelling and fanfiction, we should also talk about these examples, not only the modern ones. The truth is that retellings and fanfictions are necessary for these types of stories to survive. It makes sense that one modifies these age-old stories so they can fit into contemporary society. Every piece of ancient literature, be it the Greek epics, the Bible, or Hindu mythology, has its own share of retelling and fanfiction. These are not owned by a certain group of people; they don't have the right to gatekeep. People can and should explore these stories from their own point of view. They have the right to rewrite and retell the stories from a modern perspective. So before you chide a blog on Tumblr for writing Mahabharata-inspired fanfiction or incorrect quotes or bully them for writing a canonically incorrect ship,or critices them for writing self insert fic with Krishna stop and think for a second.

Dipping my toe into LDS fanfiction. Mostly me trying to write down something a bit more like I think T'Lyn's story should go. (NB: all my other fic is very bad Harry Potter smut, so even if you like this i wouldn't go look at my others, unless you also like that stuff. There is a Picard finale fix fic as well)
Any without further ado:
Title: I.D.I.C Rating: G Characters & Pairing: T'Lyn, Durga, Beckett Mariner Word Count: 1,200 Content: Vulcans, dialogue, characterisation, headcanons maskerading as fic. Disclaimer: The characters, settings, Star Trek: Lower Decks and the Star Trek Franchise as a whole are owned by CBS and not by me. I make no profit from writing this piece of fanfiction. Summary: The Cerritos and the Oakland going on a joint mission, afterwards Lt. Durga A/n: Set Early season 4. There aren't really really spoilers for season 4 but some musings in the aftermath of episode 5. Using Durga as a stand in for own thoughts here because while there are a few background vulcans on the Cerritos I don't think any of them have names. It kind of got a long way away from me as I wrote it.

#79 from the writing questions 🤩
79.) Do you have any writing advice you want to share?
oh gosh, okay. so first of all, follow the muse where she takes you. if you try to force her, she will only be stubborn and make sure you can't write a damn thing. sometimes it's all coming out wrong and you get stuck... search back up until the last time it really felt like it made sense and delete everything beneath it. some strings do not have to be tied! life is messy and closure is rare, sometimes there are moments in stories that are inconsequential to the overall narrative, just like life, and do not need follow up.
and something i like... absolutely live by when writing smut: always keep track of hand movement. if they're switching positions, convey that with the movement their hands make. otherwise i'm just gonna picture Durga and then i have to giggle and it just.... then i can't finish writing or reading because the giggles.
fanfiction writing asks.

"Readers, now let's get to know how lehengas went from Bollywood glamour to becoming a style sensation on the UK streets, blending Indian movie magic with everyday fashion allure."
The Lehengas evolution in Bollywood fashion from the 90s to the 21st century is a fascinating journey. In the 90s, Bollywood divas like Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor popularized voluminous Lehengas with ornate cholis, influencing Wedding Lehenga. The 2000s saw a shift towards sleeker, more contemporary designs, with actors like Aishwarya Rai and Kareena Kapoor embracing Party Wear Lehenga styles. As fashion became more global, Bollywood divas in the 2010s, like Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, showcased Indo Western Lehengas, blending traditional and Western elements. The 21st century witnessed a surge in experimental designs, unconventional colors, and a focus on personalized bridal ensembles, with actresses influencing trends through their red carpet appearances and on-screen weddings. The Lehengas journey reflects Bollywood dynamic influence on Indian fashion, transitioning from traditional to avant-garde styles over the decades.

Radiant on her big day, Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif looked like a captivating bride. Adorned in a stunning red silk lehenga, featuring a Kiran border and floral embellishments, she exuded grace. The lehenga choli, paired with a gold choker, kalire, and matta Patti, transformed her into an Indian goddess. If the classic red and gold combination speaks to your bridal dreams, Katrina's wedding lehenga is the perfect muse for inspiration.
For her Bengali wedding, Mouni Roy graced a red lehenga. The design boasted a richly embroidered border adorned with lotus motifs. The showstopper was her veil, featuring a border inspired by the Sanskrit words, 'Aayushmati Bhava,' transforming her into the epitome of an Indian bride. Mouni perfectly embodied the Bengali cultural legacy, aligning with the potent symbolism of the color red associated with the goddess Durga. If you're a bride embracing tradition with fierceness, Mouni Roy sets the ideal example to follow.
Beyond weddings, the Indian lehenga has become a go-to choice for various celebratory occasions in the UK. From festive gatherings to cultural events, women are choosing lehengas as a statement piece that reflects their appreciation for intricate craftsmanship and bold colors. Designers Lehenga in the UK are also incorporating elements of Indian embroidery and detailing into their collections, creating a seamless blend of East and West. The allure of destination weddings in Rajasthan, India, is attracting a growing number of international stars. The captivating color combinations, intricate craftsmanship, and opulent fabrics of Indian outfits can add a touch of dazzle to your special day as well.
Sophi Turner is widely known by name Sansa Stark because of the character she played in games of Thrones series. She has shown her love for Indian culture and dresses by wearing green lehenga. She wore this beautiful Silk green lehenga in Haldi ceremony of Priyanka Chopra.
Former Baywatch blond beauty Pamela Anderson is a Canadian-American actress, model, and animal rights activist. She is a great inspiration for girls and a crush for boys since her Baywatch time. She appeared in Indian reality show Bigg Boss season 4 and this is the first time she wore a lehenga choli. Being a first-time wearer of Indian outfit, she still managed to carry a lehenga with great panache.
The accessibility of Indian fashion has been further enhanced by the rise of online shopping platforms. UK residents can explore and purchase a wide array of lehengas from the comfort of their homes. Online platforms offer a curated selection, allowing customers to choose from traditional to contemporary designs, catering to diverse preferences.

If the classic red and gold combination speaks to your bridal dreams, Katrina’s wedding lehenga is the perfect muse for inspiration.

For her Bengali wedding, Mouni Roy graced a red lehenga. The design boasted a richly embroidered border adorned with lotus motifs. The showstopper was her veil, featuring a border inspired by the Sanskrit words, ‘Aayushmati Bhava,’ transforming her into the epitome of an Indian bride. Mouni perfectly embodied the Bengali cultural legacy, aligning with the potent symbolism of the color red associated with the goddess Durga. If you’re a bride embracing tradition with fierceness, Mouni Roy sets the ideal example to follow.

Why does Durga dress fashionably? Because someone wanted a personal guard that didn’t look like the standard ADVENT guards nor did they want an alien yet. They wanted someone to complement their outfits and then since Durga doesn’t look like a standard guard that tends to throw would be assassins off badly. Then how she fights throws them off even more. So she has a very good track record of keeping her bosses(gets shifted around) alive, unless you’re a traitor. You’re dead on the spot.

Quote
When the Gods forget how to slay demons and call on the universe to aid them in their task, who do you think the universe sends to help them destroy evil and wrong doing unmask? The Goddess Durga, riding towards the darkness on a tiger, countless weapons in her arms, her daughter is the one the universe trusts to protect her against all odds. Because on one hand she wipes out evil, on the other she nurtures good better than any God. In the end, even the universe knows that it is her daughter she should trust to protect her from ignorance, from darkness, from every downfall. And what does the birth of Durga, fully formed, ready to fight demons say about you? You were born to take on monsters. You were born to eat the darkness that tries to absorb you.
